Brand & Product Marketing Designer
Own how Octocom looks, sounds, and launches, from the website and visual identity to product walkthrough videos.
About Octocom
Every day, support teams spend thousands of hours on the same questions. Where is my order? How do I return this? Which product should I choose? Can I change my delivery address?
That work no longer needs to be manual. Octocom's AI handles these conversations independently across chat, email, and phone, from order tracking and returns to product guidance and order changes. Brands get faster responses, lower support costs, and happier customers.
We grew 10x in 2025 and are on track to do it again in 2026. Our AI has already handled hundreds of millions of customer conversations. We keep things direct: few meetings, no politics, clear responsibility, and honest feedback.
The role
Octocom's product can already do far more than the outside world understands. As our first dedicated brand and product marketing designer, your job is to close that gap.
You'll own how Octocom presents itself: the website, visual identity, product launches, videos, social, documentation, careers pages, and sales materials. You'll take work from idea to concept, copy, design, and finished asset without a large team around you, working directly with the founders.
The goal is simple. Anyone who encounters Octocom should think: these people are building something world-class.
What you'll own
- The website. Product, industry, pricing, comparison, and careers pages, plus the illustrations, diagrams, and product visuals in them. It should get better every week, not every two years.
- Product launches. We ship constantly. You'll find the story, decide whether it needs a video, a page, or a post, and make sure the market notices.
- Product video. We'll publish a steady stream of polished product walkthroughs, feature walkthroughs, and video demos. You own them from concept and script to finished edit, whether you produce them yourself or hire and direct freelancers.
- Visual storytelling. Motion graphics, diagrams, and interactive experiences that make complex technology click.
- The brand. Not just fonts and colors. How confident and technical we sound, how we demo, and how someone feels after five minutes with Octocom.
- Founder and company content. Launches, “how we built this” stories, customer stories, and opinionated pieces. One exceptional thing beats ten forgettable ones.
Who we're looking for
The most important requirement is taste. You notice when a layout feels wrong, a headline says nothing, or something impressive is presented in an unimpressive way, and you know how to fix it.
- You have an unusually strong portfolio.
- You've built websites or digital products yourself.
- You've taken professional videos from concept to finished product, editing them yourself or directing freelancers. You don't need to be on camera.
- You can write, and you can explain complex software simply.
- You use modern AI tools aggressively to do the work of a whole team.
- You work without a detailed brief and prefer shipping to presenting.
You don't need to be a software engineer, but being able to build or modify websites and prototypes yourself is a major advantage.
In your first 6 to 12 months
- The website looks and communicates materially better.
- Major releases consistently get high-quality launches.
- A growing library of professional product and feature walkthroughs.
- Our visual identity becomes recognizable and coherent.
- Sales has dramatically better assets to show prospects.
- The market increasingly sees Octocom as one of the leading companies in AI customer operations.
