Every day, support teams spend thousands of hours on the same questions. Where is my order? How do I return this? Which product should I choose? Can I change my delivery address?

Octocom builds AI agents for support and sales for consumer businesses. Our agents handle conversations independently across chat, email, and phone, from order tracking and returns to product guidance and order changes. Businesses get faster responses, lower support costs, and more sales.

We grew 10x in 2025 and are on track to do it again in 2026. Our AI has already handled hundreds of millions of customer conversations. We keep things direct: few meetings, no politics, clear responsibility, and honest feedback.

The role

Octocom can already do far more than the outside world understands. The website is where that gap closes. You will be our first dedicated web designer: the person who sets the visual standard for the company and personally ships it.

The core of the job is the website. You'll expand and improve octocom.ai with pages that explain the product clearly and make a visitor think: these people are building something world-class. Social content, decks, and ads are not the focus.

The founders give you the substance: what the product does, why it matters, and rough ideas for what a page should say. You decide how it reads and how it looks. Copy and layout are one craft, and you own both.

You'll build on our existing Next.js and Tailwind website. We expect you to use AI coding tools to implement your designs, with whichever tools you prefer. You own the quality of the finished pages: exceptional design and copy, shipped fast.

What you'll own

• The website. Product, industry, pricing, comparison, integration, documentation, and careers pages, from information architecture to copy to finished page. It should get better every week, not every two years.
• The copy. We supply the ideas and product knowledge. You turn them into clear headlines and pages worth reading.
• The visual system. Typography, color, layout, imagery, and motion. A coherent system that scales to dozens of pages without falling apart.
• Launch pages. We ship constantly. A new feature gets a page that explains it clearly and looks great, live within days, not a quarter later.
• Later, as the website proves out. Product videos, brand identity, social, and sales assets. The role grows with what you take on.

Who we're looking for

The most important requirement is taste. You notice when a layout feels wrong, a headline says nothing, or something impressive is presented in an unimpressive way, and you know how to fix it.

• You have an unusually strong portfolio of live marketing websites and landing pages that you designed yourself.
• You write well. The copy on your portfolio is yours, and it shows.
• You have owned a website, or a significant part of one, over months or years. You have iterated on a living site, not just delivered projects.
• You ship finished pages on our Next.js and Tailwind site, using AI coding tools of your choice.
• You use modern AI tools aggressively.
• You work without a detailed brief and prefer shipping to presenting.

Nice to have, not required: motion and animation, video editing, and brand identity work. You can grow into these or direct freelancers for the rest.

In your first 90 days

• Expand octocom.ai to 30+ pages across product, solutions, pricing, comparisons, integrations, and careers.
• Set the visual system: typography, color, components, and page templates.
• Change a first-time visitor's reaction from "another AI tool" to "these people are building something world-class."

Why this role is different

• This is not a project. Consistent pay, and quieter months are fine. When the product changes, you carry the website forward. We want the person who builds octocom.ai to still be iterating on it two years from now.
• Direct line to the founders. No design by committee, no layers between an idea and a shipped page.
• Top-of-market pay. €4,000–€9,000 gross/month, plus a performance bonus. Remote, on European working hours.
