Product Engineer

Help turn one of the best AI support products in the industry into the undeniable number one. You decide what to build, then build it.

About Octocom

Octocom builds AI customer support agents for consumer and high-volume businesses, from DTC brands and retailers to telecoms, insurers, and airlines. Our agents work across every text channel and voice, inbound and outbound.

Customers get support that beats human KPIs at a far lower cost than humans or any competitor. Octocom connects to any system, handles their most complex processes, and is easy to set up and run.

We process tens of millions of tickets a month. We grew 10x in 2025, are on track to do it again in 2026, and are among the best in the market. Our next milestone is $30M ARR. After that, we want to be the undeniable number one.

Why this role exists

We've built a vast, sophisticated product that's among the best in the industry. Our vision goes far beyond it, and the bar keeps rising.

There's more to build than our current team can take on. We need great product engineers to make that vision real, owning work end to end.

To be frank: we know where the product is going, but getting it right takes taste, judgment, and a lot of iteration. With this many initiatives, nobody will hand you a spec. If a task can be described precisely enough to hand over, we can give it to AI.

The people we hire see what needs doing, work out the best way to do it, ship it, and keep iterating until the results are there. We trust them to deliver world-class quality on their own.

Who we're looking for

This seat is for exceptional people, and the bar is blunt: excellence, hard work, intensity, and high agency.

  • Product builder. You've built real products end to end and put them in front of real users.
  • Taste and judgment. You know what great looks like and make the right call without a spec.
  • On the frontier. You've built and run agents and agentic systems in practice, and you know where they break.
  • Always learning. You follow what's happening in AI closely and put it to work.
  • Intensity. You bring real energy to the work and push hard to get results.

If that doesn't sound like you, this won't be a fit. If it does, and you want to work at that intensity, the upside is life-changing if we succeed.

Not a fit

  • Vibe coders who ship code without understanding what's happening under the hood.
  • Engineers who need a PM to define every ticket.
  • Process-first operators from big companies.
  • Specialists who only want backend and systems work, or only frontend and design. This role spans the whole product.

Pay and upside

Base salary is typically €6,000–€9,000 a month, depending on experience. For exceptional fits, we're happy to go beyond it.

On top of that, you earn large cash bonuses as the company hits the goals you help us reach. If we succeed, the amounts are life-changing. This isn't a commission plan: it's reserved for a small core team across product and growth. We'll walk you through the details on the first call.

Apply for this role

LinkedIn alone isn't enough, so we ask for four short written answers. Drafting with AI is fine. We're looking for substance.
